The tide had changed and though no one could imagine it possible, the Operators chose to move against the Creators
Entire cities were held hostage with the evr present horrifying thought that the Machinery might be used on flesh and bone
Though the Operators fought for their very survival, what they did was unthinkable
Yet, in the end, the solution the Creators put forth allowed them to remain
The new protocol and Tri-national Dissolution of Countries and Corporations meant that beyond simple police actions, there'd be little need for fighting
But when there was a rogue state or warlord, they'd simply take their directives directly from the Creators, the Operators would still control the Machinery

Command 2: Machinery must follow the commands of its Operator unless that does not compute with Command 1
Command 3: Machinery must protect itself from destruction unless that does not compute with Command 1 or Command 2
